In Edinburgh with Alice

Early last year I visited my pal Alice who at the time I hadn't seen in a pretty long time, and now that I think of it I don't think I've seen her since these photos either!

Aside from the first photo which was taken with a 50mm Summilux (that Leica kindly loaned me for a while) I was almost exclusively shooting a 21mm at this point.

And looking back, the 21 wasn't the right lens for me, and I think I would have gotten some much better photos if I were using something like a 28/35. Saying that, I do like the few with the 'my mind's playin' tricks on me' graffiti, they’re the strongest of the bunch.

Anyway, I can't remember posting this little set anywhere online - maybe it was on my old blog, but who knows anymore!
