Mayshe-Mayshe, James Ewan Tait, Robert Sotelo, Irma Vep @ The Doublet, Glasgow

I wasn't expecting to be out this evening, and I saw Mayshe-Mayshe was playing Glasgow so basically had to take myself along as the venue is only a short walk down the river from my flat. Also on the bill were James Ewan Tait, Robert Sotelo, and Irma Vep.

The venue was a lounge room above a pub, it was tiny with a small stage area and a bar.

It was the perfect size for something like this, and I was suprised how many people showed up for a mid-week gig.

I'm gonna head to The Doublet more.

The lighting was a bit flat and I was mostly just watching, so the photos here are lacking somewhat but if you're here you may aswell look at them anyway and then go listen to the music because everyone was pretty rad.

Each set was different from the last, and each brought their own sound to the table. I'm super tired, that's all I've got. Good night.
