Stephen had threatened no Hogmanay party but due to no one else really doing anything ended up throwing one anyway. Old habits die hard.

New Year’s Eve tomorrow, meaning Christmas is finally done and last night marked my final shift of the year at Catty.
I don’t particularly celebrate Christmas and this year I put a solid effort in despite not having a place of my own to live and numerous other things that crept up along the way. Inevitably I burned myself out and went back to my old ways, but I at least managed to deal with it better.
Doesn’t matter how hopeless things get, and this year proved if you can find yerself some good cunts to be around it makes the world of difference.
Enough on that, here’s a selection of photos from over the Christmas period.
This is the second of a two parter on my birthday. I haven’t written the first part yet, but that will follow in a few days or so.
To be honest, I probably wasn’t even going to write a birthday blog but given that the day culminated in my ejection from the studio space I’d been hiring for approximately 52 minutes, I figured I’ll write something about it.
Anyway, this is a selection of photos from the catty as I was working as per. A few pals came along, and I got real drunk and apparently ordered 12 corn on’t cobs from KFC afterwards.

I’ve a little catching up to do, so this is my first post of three from my time in Scarborough a couple of weeks ago.
I’ve entered a bit of a lull with party photos lately. I think the fact I’ve stopped drinking so much has become a huge part of that, and when you go at things with a more sober and ‘professional’ mindset, it gets stale real goddamn fast from my perspective.
I’m definitely due a blow out, I think…
That said, just over a month ago a friend of a friend got in touch with me about heading down to Scarborough to shoot a night they were putting on in a Brewery. It’s been a while since I’ve shot anything other than a rock club, so I jumped at the chance to do something a little different and arguably out of my comfort zone. Even if it did technically mean travelling to another country.
My history within Scarborough’s nightlife scene undoubtedly riles some people up the wrong way, and in all honesty I know a lot of the people who’d quite enjoy seeing me put into hospital would be into this particular event. Continue reading “Scarborough: Por Favor”
