Countryside nudes with JAZZebell_

It’s been almost 2 months since I took photos of JAZZebell_ in Wales. She’s spending most of her time in and around Bristol now but she managed to take a few days out to come up north.

I’d been on with a few things so we weren’t really sure if we were gonna get chance to meet for a catch up, but we did, and that is why you are reading this blog.

We took a walk around the town hunting down vegan cakes and took some time out on the beach.

JAZZebell_ & Ruby, Manchester

I’ve been aware for a while that I never finished blogging about the whole hitching adventure after I burned out, and only yesterday I got around to going back and properly sorting through this set from Manchester of JAZZebell_ & Ruby.

There’s quite a few sets I haven’t gotten around to yet, and I’m in the process of putting a little something together to do the whole thing justice but that’s just gonna take a little while longer.

Ruby put us up for a few days during what ended up being our last stop on the tour before I made my way back home. It was rad to have them both finally meet each other, and we took a ton of photos so here’s a few.

If you want the full set you’ll just have to sign up to my OnlyFans!

To Wales and back.

I haven’t posted an actual blog in a long while, and it’s not for lack of doing things to write about. I’ve been all over… had another stint in Prague and covered a festival and hung out with friends, then back in the UK I travelled to Sunderland and Newcastle to shoot and catch up with various friends while also attending a wedding, and also visited Wales. There’s more things in between too, I’m sure. But I’m just having a massively shit time right now, though I feel like I should probably at least post something rather than ignore everything forever.

I’m gonna start with my recent trip to Wales.

The photographer Jazz was travelling down to work with went well out of his way to accommodate us, picking us up and driving us around, and even let us crash in his family home for the few days we were there – his wife even prepared us some vegan meals for our stay. Dynamite.

On the road

We spent a day by the beach, and I found a washed up Jellyfish. It was huge.

Four More Years.

Whenever I leave the country I do my best to fly from Gatwick. My friend Abby lives just a 10 minute drive from it, and going to stay with her for a few days before/after my flights means I get to hang out with her for a decent amount of time while also breaking up my journey a little as I don’t get to travel south as much as I’d like to.

Jazz also happened to be in the area, so she made her way over to Crawley and hung out with us for a couple of days.

The heat was stupid. So I spent the majority of my time looking for the next shady spot to sit for a minute which also coincided nicely with just letting Jazz do her Jazz things.

Abby picked us up from the hotel we were staying in, and we drove to Tilgate Park for a picnic as the sun set.

After the picnic we had a late drive out to the south coast stopping at Lancing Beach as midnight hit, marking Abby being 4 years sober. She’s nailing it. It was dark and I didn’t take my flash and so there’s very little photos but here’s a couple from when we visited again during the afternoon a couple days later.

It was rad to hang with Abby for a few days, especially the day we drove out to Ashdown Forest and just laid in the trees away from everything. Well, as away from everything as you can be until a people in a hot air balloon decide to drop in the field next to you. I weirdly have no photos of that. What am I even doing anymore?

Photo Tour pt.2: Five Days in Newcastle

James dropped us off by the A19 to help our hitch, but we kicked around for an hour and didn’t get picked up. It was boiling hot, and we were carrying everything and wearing our coats and we ended up resorting to heading back into the centre to catch a direct bus to Newcastle as Jazz had a shoot arranged in Newcastle, and we didn’t want to be late. It was that hot I couldn’t even be bothered to grab my camera from my bag, so there’s no photos here.

On the bus the morning got worse ’cause we had a last minute bust up with the booking agent for the apartment we had secured and that left us with nowhere to stay. Between that and not wanting to be late, we opted to just spend the same amount of money on a hotel for the full four nights instead of two and have it all dealt with so we weren’t stressing. It wasn’t ideal, but also not too many photographers are booking models at the moment apparently, so losing the apartment wasn’t the end of the day.

Just one of those things.

We met Arrow Photographic, and he drove us along the river to take photos of Jazz for an hour. They shot by the river and then also under the A1 on the way back to the car. After having a photographer bail on Jazz in Middlesbrough, it was good to have something to go to plan. Fair to say we both felt better then.

Photo Tour pt.1: Hitchhiking to Middlesbrough

On Monday I left Scarborough along with JAZZebell_ as we decided to go on a hitch adventure.

tour-3

The purpose really is to travel around so Jazz can work with photographers and so I can do my own thing and document the whole process, along with taking my own photos on the way.

The afternoon we left it was pissing it with rain, and to give us a little boost my mum dropped us both off in Pickering. We started walking toward Thirsk to then hopefully end up on the A19 to Middlesbrough where we’d planned to end up that night.

tour-2

It took us maybe 25 minutes to get picked up, but by the time we were out of Pickering a couple stopped to pick us up. They told us about how they used to hitch back in the day, and still continue to pick up hitchers on the rare chance they see them. They were genuinely gutted they couldn’t take us further, and we were dropped off out in the rain about halfway to Thirsk. We carried on and it wasn’t long before another couple saw us and took pity. They said we looked miserable in the rain, but I know I was just doubting that an Audi driver would actually stop for us. I was wrong, and they were lovely.

Liverpool Apartment shoot with JAZZebell_

I headed to Liverpool for a couple of days to see JAZZebell_. I caught the bus, as usual and that took a few hours.

We’d booked an apartment for the night as she was celebrating being sober for an entire month. Jazz’s pretty good at scoping out deals and managed to bag a nicely sized private apartment in the city centre for £30. Nice.

I cooked her an evening meal, and we ate all the ice cream we could get, and I made breakfast the following morning.

By the time we got out of bed, we had an hour before check out and managed a quick 25 minute shoot in the apartment. I live streamed it on Instagram which was a first for me, and aside from my MacBook almost having it’s life reach an unnatural end, it went fine.

Right, here’s some photos and they get nsfw pretty quick.
