Hog Wild: A look at recording on the cheap.

When I moved back to Glasgow I didn’t have anywhere to move to, so I crashed on Stephen’s sofa for a week. Being a couple of musicians that are always ready to get a new project underway we started recording ideas, and in passing them back and forth we quickly determined our roles; Stephen would handle vocals and synths, and I’d do guitar/bass and drums.

Closet Organ: Nazi Pugs, Fuck Off

When I moved to Glasgow I joined a wee grunge band that was refusing to die and we ended up recording and releasing an album. A little while after that we recorded a 3 track EP and I ended up moving away and it’s over a year since we’ve done anything.

Anyway, that EP has just today been released, and I am looking forward to getting back to Glasgow to continue making a racket with these fellas.

New Release: Magnificent Bastard

A band I started with my pals Iain and Jordan recorded an EP in a brewery in Scarborough just days before I moved to Glasgow last January.

Various projects have come along since the move, and this EP ended up taking a backseat while I sorted my shit out up here.

It’s all done now, though – and our debut Play Some Rap Music EP is available on bandcamp for digital download, or you can even grab a limited edition cassette (there’s only 10, with some cassette only b-sides) through Cow Tongue Taco Records.
